Like any other performance, musicians warm up on their instruments, people in the audience try to find their seats, and then the magic begins. But the venue is different for this concert. This is the Baltimore Station, a residential treatment facility for military veterans suffering from addiction

.And this performance from the jazz quartet — Dat Feel Good — comes courtesy of the nonprofit Our Joyful Noise Baltimore.

They bring concerts by professional musicians into prisons, centers for autistic children and underserved communities.

The men here at the Baltimore Station don't usually get to see concerts.

But when they do, that musicality brings them to their feet. And for musician Clarence Ward the Third — an Army veteran himself — there’s nothing like it.
