A man was hospitalized in Florida Sunday afternoon after a shark bit him.
The incident happened on Anna Maria Island, a barrier island on the state's Gulf Coast.
The West Manatee Fire District said a report of the incident came in around 3:40 p.m.
The injured man, a 22-year-old, was taken to the hospital.
There is no other information on his condition at this time.
